Your Rights Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
As a UK consumer, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods — no questions asked. This is your statutory cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
How to Return an Item
Contact Us Within 14 Days
Email support@sheltech.co.uk or call 020 7946 0958 with your order number. Let us know which item(s) you wish to return and the reason.
Receive Your Returns Authorisation
We'll issue a returns reference number and provide the address for returning your item. Please include the reference inside your parcel.
Pack the Item Securely
Return the item in its original packaging with all tags, labels, and accessories. Use a sturdy box and include the returns reference. We recommend using a tracked delivery service.
Refund Processed
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we'll process your refund within 14 days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. You'll receive a confirmation email.
Important Conditions
- Items must be unused and in original condition with all packaging intact.
- Custom-made, personalised, and perishable items are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right.
- Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- We recommend using a tracked shipping service for returns — we cannot be held responsible for lost parcels.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a full refund including return postage costs, or a replacement at no extra cost. We may ask for photographs of the fault to process your claim quickly.
